All Things Denote There Is a God

Evidence of God Is Everywhere

God Is Everywhere

“… all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator.” (Alma 30:41)

I love this video that demonstrates the respective orbits around the sun of Earth and Venus.  And while I’m no scientist or expert, I know there are a gazillion (see? not a mathematician either!) other evidences in nature and equations that are similarly too perfect to be anything other than evidence of the existence of God.

Nevertheless, there are people who would disagree with the idea that evidences of God is everywhere.  Even so, they cannot argue with our own personal experiences and witnesses we receive as individuals about His love. Not a day passes that I don’t receive a confirmation of how much Heaven loves me, and not just loves me, but is aware of me and my every need. This is manifested in a million different ways – some small, and some big and grandiose – but all are consistent and insistent that they be recognized for what they are.

Finding Evidence In Your Own Life

What are some ways you have seen God’s love in your life today? Did you pay attention to the kindness of a stranger letting you into their lane? What about seeing the beginning of a blossom after a long winter? Or the empathetic smile of a friend as she listened to you? How about the laughter of a child?

And you? Were you the evidence for someone else that God loves them?

“My Heavenly Father (and Mother!) Loves Me”

Whenever I hear the song of a bird,
Or look at the blue, blue sky,
Whenever I feel the rain on my face
Or the wind as it rushes by,
Whenever I touch a velvet rose
Or walk by our lilac tree,
I’m glad that I live in this beautiful world
Heav’nly Father created for me.

He gave me my eyes that I might see
The color of butterfly wings.
He gave me my ears that I might hear
The magical sound of things.
He gave me my life, my mind, my heart:
I thank him rev’rently
For all his creations, of which I’m a part.
Yes, I know Heav’nly Father loves me.
